Indian Institute of Advanced Study is a famous center of higher education. This institute of learning has around 100 years past journey with its formal built up record during the period of Lord Duffein. In 1964, it was formally inaugurated by former president Dr. Radhakrishnan. The Indian Institute of Advanced Study has a captivating charm due to its architectural beauty. For its design and building style there was the use of grey stone and Burmese teak which provides it an exquisite appearance. This heritage structure was originally constructed as a Viceroy residence and during Post-Independence it was renamed as Rashtrapati Niwas. After some time, this residential area was converted into a research center.
