Shimla & Manali both are awesome places with lots of snows & great destination for honeymoon. Just make sure you are travelling during the winters. Snow caped High Mountains, beautiful valleys with Pine trees & colorful cultural beauty of Himachal Pradesh attracts everyone. I visited for eight days with my college friends to Shimla, Manali & Agra. We booked the tour from Antilog Vacations & it was well organized. In Shimla we visited Kufri, Green Valley, Hanuman Temple at jakhoo, Mall Road & Ridge. At Manali we visited Manali town & Solang Valley; we saw snow at Rohtang, Most wonderful part of the trip was visiting Taj Mahal at Agra. It was really an enjoyable trip.

No doubt, hilly areas were perfect for vacations. But, never forget to hire a local driver. It was our first honeymoon where we hired the local driver for sightseeing. It was truly a safe decision at one lane roads. He had driven in a terrific way by managing the nearby passing high speed vehicles.
