DESCRIPTION

Visit Pashana Pabbatha Viharya and learn about the ancient Buddhist civilization. Perched on the rock, this temple has six inscriptions which make references of a Buddhist civilization that flourished during that period. As you reached the temple, enjoy the mesmerizing view of the sea on the Southern direction and paddy fields, scores of houses built by NGOs for tsunami victims and the thick jungle that stretches for miles on the other side.
