The tour of Vientiane doesn't complete with the major highlights of the capital city like Vat Sisaket, That Luang, Ho Phrakeo and Patouxay. Apart from such highlights, a visit to Antique Textile Museum is a way to explore the unique collection of Laos which has strong relation with artifacts and textiles. So, we start our tour with the oldest monastery, 'Vat Sisaket' which was built in 1818. Then, the next stop will be a wonderful Royal temple or Museum of Buddhist art, 'Ho Phrakeo'. That Luang, a golden stupa is our next step, which is the most revered shrine of Laos with banana flower shaped stupa. Finally, we proceed to victory monument, Patouxay before lunch. Then the traditional house of Antique Textile Museum is our final step of the tour, after lunch. The museum has a wonderful collection of textile and artifacts. In the late afternoon, must explore the leading streets to Mekong River on a pleasant walk, as a concluded step of the tour.
