Explore the religious side of China on this tour from Chengdu. See the world's largest stone Buddha statue. Counted among the UNESCO World Heritage-List, the 233 feet Grand Buddha of Leshan holds a very significant place in the China. Your tour also includes a visit to the ancient Buddhist temples along the way.

Embark on a two-hour thrilling drive to the Leshan Grand Buddha. Upon arrival, relish a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Post Lunch, visit the Grand Buddha Temple, located behind the Grand Buddha's head. Marvel at this huge statue and see its coiled hair, made up of around 1,020 twisted buns. Follow your guide down the trail toward the left of theGrand Buddha and take as many pictures as you can. Embark on another 30-minute walk up the trail on the right side of the Buddha to reach the other temple.
Take a stroll through the Wuyou Temple and admire the calligraphic paintings, sculptures of terracotta monks and various other Buddhist artifacts. Continue your journey to Arhat hall, and see 500 Arhat statues.
Admire the outer aerial views of the Buddha, the surrounding forest and merging of the Min River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River. If you want to view Grand Budha from an alternative point of view you can opt for a boat cruise (at own expense).
