Description

A cluster of 5 small havelis, Patwon ki Haveli was the first haveli erected in Jaisalmer. Made of yellow sandstone, it is among the most important havelis in Jaisalmer. Commissioned by Guman Chand Patwa, the haveli was actually completed by his son and took around 55 years to build. Presently occupied by the government, the striking architecture of the haveli attracts thousands of tourists daily. Eye catching fine wall paintings and mirror work on the walls, beautiful balconies, archways and gateways
