Overview

Located in Kotwali Bazaar of Dharamsala, Kangra Art Gallery was initiated in 1990. It houses a great gathering of artworks, outfits, artifacts and different treasures, which can be followed to as far back as the 5th century. The mixed bag of things in presentation incorporates woodcarvings and tribal adornments;, stoneware, anthropological things, coins collection, sculptures and manuscripts, illustrious tents, shamianas and pandas, and so forth.

Description

Situated around 33 km far from Palampur in Kotwali Bazaar of Dharamsala, this is one of a kind exhibition hall showing the antiques of Tibetan and Buddhist societies, which reflect artistic expertise, history and culture of the populace of the Kangra valley. Introduced in 1990, the exhibition hall's artwork can be followed to as far back as the fifth century.
