Overview
The Kangra Fort is situated on a slope at the convergence of Banganga and Patal Ganga (Majhi) river, in the southwestern fringes of the old Kangra town. This fort was constructed by Katoch Dynasty ruler, Bhuma Chand and the place is also famous by different names like Nagarkot and Kot Kangra. The fort had the remains of the royal residences of Katoch kings which can be seen today at the extreme top of the ridge.
Description
The Fort spreads over a long extent of the area and has high walls and defenses around it. They shelter a track of around 4 km. There are different royal rewarding symbols in respect of victory heroes. Similarly, the construction of entrance or Darwaza was concluded by the first Mughal legislative leader of Kangra, Nawab Alif Khan. The Lakshmi Narayan Temple and the Sitlamata Temple, that remain on the other side of the Darshani Darwaza are the chief fascinations of this fort. But unluckily, the strong tremor of 1905 has brought on much harm to the temples, still both have attractive carvings to delight you.

Golden triangle was helpful for us to visit three different destinations in three states of India with cultural differences. It was my honeymoon trip & we booked it from Antilog vacations. We enjoyed rickshaw ride in Delhi & visited Chandni Chowk, Red fort, Jama Masjid & Qutub Minar. Taj Mahal visit was a wonderful Honeymoon gift for both of us, we spent half of our day at Taj Mahal. We were surprised by flower decoration & Honeymoon cake with royal treatment at Jaipur.

We organized a family trip for a week; it was a tour of Delhi Agra & Jaipur. This was a leisure trip for the elders but at the same time educational trip for the Children. At Delhi we visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Red fort & Akshardham Temple. Then we went to Agra there we visited Agra fort & Taj Mahal. On the way to Jaipur we also visited Fatehpur Sikari. Our last two days of the tour were in Jaipur, there we visited hawa mahal. Pink city, Jal Mahal & Amer fort. This tour was the result of Antilog Vacations tour planning. Thanks to Antilog for such a wonderful trip.
