Overview

In this tour, you will explore the Mausoleum of Ataturk. It is a famous example of modern Turkish architecture. It was created by Turkish designer Emil Onat and built within 1944 and 1953. Ataturk's relics were housed in Ankara's Ethnographic Museum. The complex itself is enormous including a Path of Honour sided by resting Hittite lions, a Court of Honour, the Ataturk Mausoleum itself and a museum devoted to Ataturk's life.
